We’ve finished our fourth week and start the 5th week of trial Monday. We’ve already lost a couple of jurors for different reasons and are into our alternates.  I expect the trial to finish this week. I had the pleasure of cross examining the CEO of the defendant corporation last Friday. A most interesting experience. I thought for awhile it was going to be a scene from the movie A Few Good Men where the witness finally has had enough and says exactly what’s on his mind, but we survived without that kind of drama although it was a unique experience in examining a witness. I’ll provide a report after the trial is over.

I’ve not been able to watch TV news or read much in the newspapers working the long hours involved in a trial, but isn’t the surge for Obama amazing. Politics is totally unpredictable and even now one slip, one dramatic event and it could all turn around again. Stay tuned
