This is our third, and hopefully final week in Scottsdale. With outside temperatures 113 t o 118 degrees one does not spend time outside.. I have another week of rehab before the doctor lets us go home. I am looking forward to our home and especially our dogs and cats which we have missed. Julie Harrison, our house manager has had the brunt of it taking care of her animals plus taking in our dogs as well. On this end, Lita has had to carry the entire load. I'm slowly getting more independent and relieving her of the burden somewhat, but I can't drive or carry anything with my walker. I have to figure out how to get rehab in Gig Harbor and be driven to work plus my schedule at home.

What is important is that the surgery was a success and so far my recovery is going well. Hopefully this will be behind me soon and I can start paying attention to the outside world.
